Today we're going to take a look at the current Super Bowl odds, as the sportsbooks factor in results from week 3. We've already seen twists and turns in the expectations of this season - with underdogs on the rise and favourites underperforming - but it's early days and there's plenty of games still to play.
First let's look at the divisional favourites and then rundown each teams odds and how they match up to their opening lines.
AFC Super Bowl Favourites
Buffalo Bills (+400)
Sitting comfortably atop the Super Bowl odds, are the Buffalo Bills with a 2-1 record. They have long been favourites for Super Bowl 57, being the favourites in the sportsbook way back at the start of the offseason. Although the Bills failed to win in Miami, they still hold the top spot in the odds as Josh Allen looks to be in the opening phases of an MVP season.
Kansas City Chiefs (+750)
Kansas took a rough loss on the road in Indianapolis as the Chiefs offensive line struggled and Patrick Mahomes couldn't quite get into his usual stride. The bookies are confident this should be a rare blemish on an otherwise successful season, as the second Super Bowl favourites of the AFC.
Miami Dolphins (+1800)
After producing a comeback rally from a 21-point deficit to beat the Ravens 42-38 in Week 2, Tua then led Miami to a victory over the Super Bowl favourites, the Bills. Despite suffering a concussion in Week 3's loss to Cincinnati, the star quarterback was cleared from hospital and should continue to lead the Dolphins in a very successful season that continues to shock the league. Tagovailoa is the spark that Miami have been looking for, and if he stays healthy he could take the Fins a long way with help from speedster receivers Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.
Baltimore Ravens (+1800)
Lamar Jackson bounced back from Baltimore's week 2 loss to produce a win in New England. The Ravens QB had another amazing performance, and is throwing his name into the mix for MVP early on. The Buffalo Bills stand in their way in week 4, it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top.
NFC Super Bowl Favourites
Philadelphia Eagles (+800)
The Eagles are current NFC favourites to take the Super Bowl title this year. Leaving Carson Wentz in the dust in 2020, young superstar Jalen Hurts is comfortably at the helm and seems to be capable of an MVP season too. They are currently the only undefeated team in the NFL, and with the next few games looking winnable, I wonder how far they can go.
Green Bay Packers (+900)
The Packers have won two in a row since looking very out of shape in their opening matchup. Rodgers secured a 14-12 win over Tom Brady and the Bucs in week 3. The defense is looking solid as ever, but the offense has some things to work on if they want to keep winning.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1000)
Tampa Bay remain in the mix of the NFC favourites, but the side have certainly underperformed so far this year. Expectations are always high for Tom Brady, but he's been lacking his usual WR weapons, who have been missing much of the action. Heads turn to Sunday where the Bucs have a date in Kansas - does the old buck still have what it takes to teach Mahomes a lesson?
Los Angeles Rams (+1500)
The defending Super Bowl champs have had an up and down season so far, but are well within reach of the division title. They sit atop the NFC west as the only team with 1 loss to their name. The Cardinals are likely the only challenge within the division for LA this year. Kyler Murray looks in great shape but has had a few tough games, with Arizona's solo victory being a comeback from 20-0 down at the half to win in overtime.
